From sweeping orchestral scores to ultra modern hybrid creations, we can provide you with whatever color and emotion you require for your film.
When working with film makers, we find a great way of working is to arrange an initial meeting between you and one of our dedicated film score composers, so we can get to know you a bit and find out exactly what kind of music you envision providing the background to your film, including any role model scores / styles you have in mind.
Once our composer has seen a screening, we can set up a spotting session so you can both go through the film scene by scene and our composer will ask you exactly what kind of emotion you want to create in any scenes where you feel music would enhance the action. Our composers will also provide stylistic suggestions for you drawing on their deep knowledge of music for film. Our composers are happy to work with or without the aid of existing temp scores, so just let us know your preferred workflow.
After this initial spotting session is complete our composer will sketch out ideas for main themes and the credits based on what you have both discussed, and once you are happy with these, scoring will begin in earnest, with regular updates for you to listen to and critique.
We want to make sure you get exactly the flavour of music you want for your film in any style you wish, and if you prefer working in a different way, just let us know your preferred method and that’s how we’ll do it! Your happiness and comfortability with the process is our top priority.
Once scoring is complete and you are happy, we’ll provide you with the complete stems for mixing.
